The NSCA ‘Strength & Conditioning Specialist’ is a qualification, which only 90,000 people worldwide have obtained. By having this certification, it provides the client with the confidence and re-assurance that Jan has the theoretical background and understanding of the human body and its mechanics, in which the client will benefit from using.
Jan uses Strength & Conditioning programmes to achieve many performance related goals. Not only does he design and implement Strength & Conditioning programmes for strength based athletes, but uses his certifications and knowledge to provide athletes and general clients with re-hab and recovery programmes to improve and re-model muscle groups following an injury. Strength & Conditioning has many uses in an exercise regime.
Jan works mainly on a 1-2-1 basis, but when certain requirements are needed he also works with teams and groups Eg. Rugby Union teams, athletes, Tennis players.
Jan finds that working in a 1-2-1 situation really brings out the best in his clients. From having 1-2-1 tuition, the client can fully concentrate, absorb and implement the information Jan has given. Of course the great benefit of 1-2-1 instruction is quality of the exercises practiced. By having a Strength professional by your side, you can be sure that the exercises performed will be technically correct, performed under strict control and performed using the correct speed of movement (tempo). So many gym users perform exercises incorrectly and run the risk of injuring or damaging their body. It is a frequent occurrence in modern gyms today.
Don’t be one of the many gym users who ‘think’ they know how to perform an exercise correctly, there is a 99% chance that you don’t.
Make sure that before you undertake any kind of exercise routine that involves using weights or exercises that are very technical in nature that you are capable of performing them correctly with control and safety.
Having had countless top-level athletes recruit Jan’s services to aid their individual performance, Jan is very confident that he can assist in helping you achieve your fitness and performance goals.
Give it a try!! Harness Jan’s expertise and knowledge to get the best out of your performance. You will not regret it! |
